Minutes taken by: Medea Myhra Present: Robert Idso, Jim Tracy, Eric Steinmetz, Mark Halverson, Mike Myhra, Medea Myhra, Trudi Olmanson, Harriet Mason, Charles Mason, Kevin Petry, Tom Holmes Absent: Judy Cooper Potluck at 5:30 PM.

1. President Idso called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM.
2. President’s report – Michelle Kaisershott proposal stalled so after a year’s time the money was returned to the Schmidt Foundation. Taxes are still being filed for gambling. Bob Otto has not billed us for mowing yet. Bob will call Friar Tuck about the wall.
3. Treasurer’s report – Mark reminded everyone to pay their annual dues. Annual dues are as follows: Regular $15.00; Contributor $50.00; Patron $100.00; and Organizational $100.00. We have $6700 in checking account; $25 in savings; $45 in Dreyfus fund. Stock worth $1500 at Hickory Tech. No current bills except publishing the notice of this meeting.
4. Old business:

a. Next meeting: Look at the by-laws and discuss changing the membership year, if needed, to make it clear when dues should be paid.

5. New business:

a. Mike Myhra will set up and take down SKP tent for RockBend, and will get the teeshirts down there. We still have a good inventory of teeshirts left.
b. Trudi Olmanson and Harriet Mason approached the group and proposed that the SKP Board be the fiscal agent if The Lake Hallet Association or Friends of Lake Hallet would apply for some grant money.
c. No Prairie Open House this year.
d. Road pickup: we will try it again on Wednesday, October 10th and Saturday, October 13th. We will meet at noon on both days at the Kasota Park Shelter house.
e. Election of Board Members and Officers: Robert Idso, President; Judy Cooper, Vice President; Mark Halverson, Treasurer; Medea Myhra, Secretary; Jim Tracy, Mike Myhra, and Eric Steinmetz. Ross Gersten will be an alternate. Harriet Mason moved. Mark Halverson seconded. Motion carried. Board Officers were approved.

6. Harriet moved to adjourn. Mike Myhra seconded. Motion carried. The next meeting will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 7:00 pm at the St. Peter Community Center.
